Best of the Weekend #115

/span>
from Best of Long Island and Central Florida
I'd eat this on toast, ice cream, muffins...
heck, I'd eat it on a piece of paper.

Hey, hey!
Welcome to the weekend!
It's been the craziest, busiest week!

I've been catching up with lots of friends
before Junior Goo Shoes comes home from camp.
It's been lots of fun, and of course,
these get-togethers always revolve around eating.
I think I ate two meals at home this week,
and next week will be just as insane!
I'll break the scale if this keeps up!

 I mentioned last week that
Best of the Weekend is looking for some new co-hosts.
We would LOVE to hear from you if you are interested in joining our team!
Let me know by sending an email to

giving you a better chance of being featured each week,
so be sure to check out Ginnie and Cindy
to see if you were featured on their blogs.
And...we'll each be pinning our features to a
Pinterest "Best of the Weekend" Features board!

On my bucket list: Live in a cute stone cottage.

My features for this week are:

Heirloom Tomato, Harissa, and Green Olive Bruschetta from Sidewalk Shoes
OK, I admit I had to look up "harissa," but even before knowing what it was,
I knew I wanted these for dinner.
And breakfast.

Lemon Glazed Lemon Coconut Donuts from A Peek Into My Paradise
It's been awhile since I made donuts, but these are going to happen!
PLEASE READ THE STORY THAT ACCOMPANIES THIS RECIPE

LEFT IN A HOT CAR.
No jokes here. I just don't get some people.

Rum Island Butter With Pineapple, Mango and Banana
Chalk Paint Tutorial: Bedside Table Makeover
from I Should Be Mopping The Floor
I'm a DDIY (Don't Do It Yourself) girl,
but I'm getting ready to attempt my first chalk paint project,
and this is a great tutorial.
