Using Herbs in Flower Arrangements

How does your garden grow?
With silver bells and cockle shells?

My garden is quite the contrary.....with pretty herbs all in a row.

Truth be told, I haven't done much cooking with them,
but the herbs have found their way into my flower arrangements.
If I may say so myself, they look pretty darn good!

I'll show you what I did over at A Little Claireification.
If you wouldn't mind,
I'd love for you to leave me a comment to let me know you were there.

Happy Thursday,
and see you tomorrow night for Best of the Weekend!

  1. I love this idea. I need to replace some flowers the deer ate and am going to try herbs. I love having something green to make simple arrangements :-)

  3. They do look lovely Amy! I have lots of herbs this year and I've only mixed them with some veggies. I should branch out more :).

  6. good morning, Amy, I loved all the different arrangements you made from herb snips. Love all the odd little vases too. I haven't done that but some of my herbs are getting beyond my ability to use up in cooking so will try it.

And before you throw that rosemary out when you empty your container, throw it in a little pot with lemon slices and some water to brew the same delicious scent that Williams-Sonoma used to use in their stores. Don't know if they still do but years ago I asked to see what they had cooking that smelled so good and that's what it was.

Oh, and I tried again to leave a comment at A Little Claireification but it told me their was an error. But it was a lovely post, Amy!

  8. Great idea Amy, I never thought of that. I love the smell of rosemary and can tell when the dogs brush up against it. So I will have to incorporate my herbs into my flower arrangements.

    Have a great weekend.
