TWO WEEKS IN PHOTOS: 4.9.17 - 4.22.17

PHOTO DIARY 4.9.17 - 4.22.17 | Ms. Toody Goo Shoes

The last two weeks were largely defined by Passover
(lotsa matzoh),
and spring flowers.
Yeah, sometimes life can be exciting like that.
But, I'll gladly take it.
Our Passover seder was a small group of family,
and with lots of laughs (and lots of wine).
The joy of witnessing the rebirth of spring never gets old.
It cheers me to see the buds on the trees,
and the spring bulbs blooming.
The culmination of the second week
was marked by a road trip to Washington, DC
to celebrate a cousin's Bat Mitzvah.
It was a wonderful evening!

And now, onto the photos!

  1. OMG! Did ur hubby actually EAT that?! Lol

I DEFINITELY have to go to that restaurant next time I'm down there.

Your neighborhood looks lovely. That mid century modern house looks pretty cool, and that beautiful White House ain't too shabby either!

  2. LOVE your posts...always something new to see ("New York, New York...I'm singing here!) and in this case, learn. I found a small cookbook with modern versions of Jewish holiday recipes a long time ago. As per usual, I thought it was interesting. My husband, who is well known for studying the history of the Jews, made me feel I would make a fool of myself for making any of these dishes, no matter how, no matter when. I tossed the book thinking I was disrespectful. I can't remember the name or author but when I think of the new friendship you and I have, you might nod at my endeavor! :)

  4. Oh my gosh, boy has spring sprung in your neck of the woods!! Love these photos, but I don't miss the Triboro bridge even the tiniest bit, ha ha! Your hubby better be careful with dinners like that - that's one heck of a (no doubt yummy!) cholesterol bomb!!

    1. OOPS! I don't know why I said Triboro - it's the Tappan Zee, which I cross so frequently, I can't believe I wrote the wrong thing! I've corrected it now!
