My Photo Diary: November

Did someone forget to send me the memo that it's December?

Well, shut my mouth!

As you can see, I'm five days late with my November photo diary,

and that pretty much sums up what kind of month it's been.

I've had my nose to the grindstone, working on my fundraising event, 

and the whole thing has left me bleary-eyed.

I've had very little time to spend on my blog,

and in fact, my editorial calendar is pretty much in the crapper,

with blog post after blog post falling by the wayside. 

To make matters worse, I've got egg on my face,

because I haven't had time to visit my favorite bloggers in weeks 
(please forgive me - I'll be back).

Man, this retirement life is exhausting!

Carnival squash, about 5 inches round - a new find at Trader Joe's. Microwaves in minutes!

Theater row in Manhattan. How many Broadway shows can you spot? I see three.

Successful shopping excursion at local boutique.

I tried a new recipe today, and it was soooo good and super easy. I'll share soon!

November 22 
Fancy cocktail party tonight in New York City for a friend's big birthday. See Nov. 20 photo for what I'm wearing (the lacy top). Box and ribbon from Home Goods. 

November 23 
Patting myself on the back. Never mind that the difficulty level wasn't that high.

Out for a walk with the furry one.

November 25 
Playing tourist today...went to see the Rockettes at Radio City's Christmas Spectacular. Post coming soon!

November 26 
First snowfall of the season. 

November 27 
Bet we were the only ones to have Thanksgiving dinner in "Oz." My cousin left decorations up from a Wizard of Oz party she had - the ribbons around the chandelier are the bottom of the hot air balloon.  She is SO talented!

November 28 
Prepping for Thanksgiving dinner #2: My version of Sweet Potato Pie. 

November 29

November 30   
Sunday afternoon, watching football. The best thing about the game was the popcorn.
