It was a month of a-MAY-zing colors!
Part of May was spent in Europe;
the other part was spent gardening around the house.
In between, there were trips to New York City,
a Memorial Day barbecue, drinks with friends,
catching up on blogging, re-doing our landscaping,
and moving forward on a new vanity for the bathroom - finally!
And now, if I MAY............
catching up on blogging, re-doing our landscaping,
and moving forward on a new vanity for the bathroom - finally!
And now, if I MAY............

Lady in red in a crazy chair, smack in the middle of Times Square, New York.
Vibrant food display in a cafe window in Budapest.
Viennese truffels in assorted colors.
Clinking colorful cocktails!
Sweet yellow corn and a hotdog with potato salad -- don't knock it till you try it!
Glorious gazanias are the stars of this year's flower pots.
Golden beer sangria to toast the unofficial start of summer.
Orange and lime pomanders in Bratislava.
Apricot ice cream in Durnstein, Austria.
White wine on a window sill against golden lights of Budapest at dusk.

ReplyDeleteSo many amazing shots Amy, particularly in Europe! I’ve always wanted to visit Vienna and Budapest, but maybe at Christmas. Your new necklace is stunning, and that violet ice cream sounds really intriguing. I’ll put these places on my already too long bucket list. I think we need to live to be 150...
ReplyDeleteWow, such fabulous colors and photos of fun things! LOVE the necklace!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Amy...you wore me out just reading what the month of May was about for you! Your energy is never ending. But--the pics are amazing, too. I've always loved hearing about Budapest. I'd love a trip there. Your landscaping is gorgeous, I'm struggling as I'm still sore from the back surgery (and thanks for your well wishes).
ReplyDeleteAll in all, great post, great colors, great fun. Going to try the potato salad on the hotdog!
