Is there any time of year more splendid than October
to be outdoors?
The colors are spectacular,
and the temperature is just right.
and the temperature is just right.
I spent as much time outside as possible,
trying to soak it all in.
When winter's harsh weather keeps me indoors,
I'll conjure up images of October to help get me through.
Um, buds mums.
Mushrooms in the grass.
Hot dog cart reflections and fountain spray (6th Avenue and 54th Street, NYC).
Vase still life.
Raindrop-leaf relief.
Beauty Berry obsession.
100 letters to get the vote out.
Sadie's post-surgery attire.
Pumpkins and gourds, street-side, NYC.
Not-so-itsy-bitsy spider.
Itsy-bitsy breakfast for almost $20 😲 -- Only in NYC.
Five o'clock shadows.
Another tree uprooted in the backyard.
Motorcyclers.
Reservoir bog.
Cat eyes.
Pumpkins a la Wegmans.
Great Falls National Park (Paterson, NJ).
Trick-or-treaters out in full force.
Me, and a local ghoul, caught by security cameras.
Favorite fall color palette.
Till next time........
fabulous photography and October is my favorite month too.
