Best of the Weekend 104

Hello, again, and welcome to Best Of The Weekend!

Hope y'all had a Happy Mother's Day!
It seems like ages ago, already.

Is May a blur, or what?
It just occurred to me that there are only five weeks left of school.
I mentioned that to Junior Goo Shoes, and he said,
"34 days, but who's counting?
Not counting the weekends, it's only 25 days."

Yikes.

That means I have 37 days to pack up the camp trunks.
Sounds like a lot of time, but I know from experience that I better get started, pronto.
Oy.

Let's get this party started pronto, too!
Our fabulous BOTW co-hosts are...

Lisa: Cooking With Curls|FB|Twitter|Google+|Pinterest |Instagram
Amy (me!): Ms.Toody Goo Shoes|FB|Twitter|Google+|Pinterest|Instagram

Remember that each co-host selects her own favorite posts,
giving you a better chance of being featured each week,
so be sure to check out Ginnie, Cindy, Sheryl, Deb and Lisa,
to see if you were featured on their blogs.
And...we'll be pinning our features to a
Pinterest "Best of the Weekend" Features board!

Follow Cindy Eikenberg (Little Miss Celebration)'s board Best of the Weekend Features! on Pinterest.

This week's most clicked link was:

How To Sew A Pillowcase from Heart Handmade UK
How could you not have sweet dreams,
resting your head on one of those pretty pillows?

My features for this week are...

Easy Bruschetta Linguine from The Gracious Wife
"You say bru-shetta, I say bru-scetta..."
No matter how you pronounce it, I'd like some, per favore!
(And,
according to my Italian lessons, it's bru-scetta, by the way...).

Grandma's Old-Fashioned Doughnuts from The Kitchen Is My Playground
Time to make the doughnuts!
I'd have absolutely no self-control with these around.

Blackberry Topped Banana-Chocolate Dessert Shell from In Good Flavor
A dessert with all those blackberries can't be all that fattening, can it?
Oh.
I'll do an extra 20 minutes on the elliptical tomorrow.

A Mother's Day Table On Back Patio by Little Brags
This space is so inviting.
I'd love to be invited!

Life Hack: 1 Simple Trick To Get Dressed Faster and Look Awesome from No Small Life
I'll take one out of two -- get dressed faster :)
When I was working in the years B.T. (Before Technology)
I would write down outfit combos so that I wouldn't have to figure out what to wear when I was rushing out the door.
This system is a lot easier!

 OK, everyone, let's link!
