BEST OF THE WEEKEND: HAPPY 2017!

Happy New Year, everyone!
It seems like forever since our last party back in mid December.
I hope you all enjoyed the holidays,
and are now working hard on your new year's resolutions.
I can't say that I had a great holiday season.
For most of it, I was sick with bronchitis -- in fact,
I've been sick on and off for most of November and December.
I missed a celebration at my cousin's for the first night of Hanukkah
(which fell out on Christmas Eve for the first time in many years),
and recovered just in time for New Year's Eve.
That was lucky, since we were hosting a small party at our house.
And just when I thought I was out of the woods,
I came down with a cold two days ago.
I'm about ready to rip my head off.
Good thing I don't have to leave the house for this party!
Let's get it started!

  1. Happy New Year, Amy. I am so sorry you had bronchitis for so long. It is just miserable to get rid of it. That is what I had 2 years ago that turned into pneumonia. It's just a bad time of year to get sick all the way around. xo Diana

  6. Ugh! That's terrible Amy :(. So sorry!

I'm not joining in today. It's cumbersome to do it on my phone and oddly my ipad isn't getting internet, but I wanted to check in nonetheless.

That pavlova is calling my name!!
