In June, things changed..........
Friendships were rekindled.
A baby bird hatched.
A new leaf appeared.
Blossoms bloomed bolder.
Days grew longer, then shorter.
The bathroom had a facelift.
A puppy got a summer hairdo.
Storm clouds loomed; skies turned pink.
We went from here to there; there to here.
Change was good.

While pink drinks offered another sort of delight.
A baby robin made its debut.
Two woodpeckers did the tango........
"You're so vain, you probably think this picture's about you."
Well, it is, actually. New vanity is in, old pedestals are out!
Sometimes you need to change your pants.
And sometimes, you need to change your proofreader. Hail to the Chief.
Time spent in New York City was a nice break from the suburbs.......
And a change of scenery and a reunion with a dozen gal pals in Colorado was good for the soul!
Till next time.......

Beautiful photos; as always! :)
ReplyDeleteSo many lovely photos Amy!
ReplyDeleteYour vanity looks beautiful and the color of your faucet is gorgeous!
I laughed out loud when I read ‘hail to the chief’. Then I laughed again when I read ‘tmes’ 😬. Happens to the best of us!

BAH-HAH-HAH!! That typo couldn't be more perfectly positioned if I had planned it -- which I could almost get away with saying was intentional....but it wasn't! ;) Fixed.
DeleteLove, love your Coleus planter! And those jeans....a must have!!
ReplyDeleteThose pants are really cool, Amy!
ReplyDeleteSometimes change is good, your post proves that, even though I love both of Sadie's hairstyles. Your plant photos are gallery quality and that shot of pink clouds in a blue sky viewed through the dark trees is magical. Both of those drinks look refreshing and your new vanity is beautiful. But surely someone would jump on those two pretty pedestal sinks?
Your city shots make me think that you were going for a certain architectural quality, is linear the word I'm looking for? Not sure if that's right, but there's usually a pattern your camera seems to capture.
A dozen gals in Colorado? That must have been so much fun!
I love your June photo diary!
Woooooo that was a lot for June. Love the baby bird hatching how sweet. Sadie's summer hairdo is adorable and love the new jeans too cute. Happy Summer.

Wow, you get around! WHat a whirlwind June, and some fantastic shots. Thanks for sharing. The flora are terrific - love that banana leaf shot!
ReplyDeleteAmy beautiful pictures. Your flowers are pretty and are bursting with color. Enjoyed the Woodpeckers doing the tango.
ReplyDeleteSuper pictures of the City. We couldn't believe the downpours we had here.
We didn't get a pretty pink sky but I think I would enjoy the pink drink

Your June looks and sounds wonderful.
ReplyDeleteLovely to see your mix of photographs.
Hope your July is going well.
All the best Jan
Hi Amy, wow you always seem to have so much going on! I love your pretty flowers. Sadie's new cut looks so cute on her. I love the jeans and sandals too. Sounds like you are having a nice summer.

Love all the flower shot---I see you have Gazania--one of my favorite plants. Doggies new hairdo looks like a fuzzy flower too

I never really liked change that much; but if the door opens why not walk through it and see what is on the other side. I've become more open minded about change as I age.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, and nice to hear about all the positive change going on in your life!
