BEST OF THE WEEKEND AND A CALL FOR CO-HOSTS

Howdy do, friends!
So glad to see you here at Best of the Weekend!
After an unbearable heat wave
(which I'd still take over snow any day!),
we have had a fabulous stretch of glorious summer weather.
As you are reading this, I'll be sitting on the deck
hopefully with a cocktail in one hand,
and a mosquito swatter in the other.

Before we get to the party,
I've got a bit of business to discuss.
One of our BOTW co-hosts, Katherine,
has had to leave the party
due to other obligations.
Sooooooo.......we are looking for a new co-host.

In fact, we'd love to find two new co-hosts!
If you are interested, please send me an email at
mstoodygooshoes36@gmail.com
I'd love to hear from you!

Okay, are you ready to start this party?
Let's get to it!

We'd appreciate it if you'd follow your co-hosts!

  1. Amy---the Smothered Chicken sounds heavenly! I have to get back to see more of your contributions. I wish I could keep track of parties. I used to join many long ago. Now that I'm so sporadic with posting, and I hope to change that, participating in a blog party is so hard.

Thanks always for your visits. You are a bright spot in my day!

  2. Thank you so much for letting me join in on the fun at Best of the Weekend! It looks like there are so many great posts! The Dole Whip Poke Cake looks delicious! No wonder why it was the most clicked! :) Have a great weekend!

  4. I haven't made smothered chicken in years but it's a favorite old Chattanooga recipe so I must do it soon! Wrote down the blackberry bourbon salmon recipe, can't wait to try it. Amy, I can't believe it but this former summer hater is now savoring every day instead of wishing it away. Of course I'll love the snow when it comes too!
