TRAVEL COLLAGE: STOREFRONTS AROUND THE WORLD

Are you seduced by a charming storefront? This one is in Amsterdam | Ms. Toody Goo Shoes

How do you feel about shopping?
Does poking around in a store
make your heart go pitter patter.......
Or does the mere thought of stepping into a retail establishment give you chest pains?

As much as I appreciate the ease of

click-click-put-it-in the-cart-have-it-delivered-just-open-the-front door-online shopping,
I'm a sucker for a charming storefront........
one that lures me right in.......
holding promises of trinkets, jewelry, gourmet foods, knick-knacks, clothing,
gadgets, souvenirs, gag gifts, curiosities, objets de art.........
or who knows???

I've put together a collection of interesting storefronts from around the world
that have enticed me to walk through their doors.

Which one would tempt you

  1. These do look inviting! I have to be in the mood to shop but if I am I love to poke around especially around specialty boutiques with inviting windows and little odds and ends.

  2. Hi Amy,
How fun and clever are these store fronts. I would be lured in by all of them. I am an on line shopper for the most part but I do love to go into small business and buy gifts. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving. For you I know you are probably getting ready for Hanukkah and us Christmas. It is the downhill slide into getting things ready.
    Hugs,
    Kris

  5. I think I would have to go into the Amsterdam shop as it looks to have a bit of everything and I have never been to Holland! Might have to put it on my bucket list. Thanks for sharing this lovely assortment of shops, they all look very interesting and I wouldn't walk past any of them.

  7. Of course the little cottage with the vintage made me swoon, and the one in Sorrento Italy pulled at my heart strings, but I love them all! I am truly a sucker for a charming storefront. These are all so sweet. Great pictures!!

  8. I'm never big on shopping but I wouldn't mind one of these. Small shops are my thing; big ones not so much, and I don't think I've been to the mall in a decade. But these? Too charming for words!

  9. All of these storefronts look beautiful. We don't go window shopping as much as we used to. It's harder with kids.. and when we don't have the kids we're still usually in a hurry.

  12. Wow! An amazing collection here.
I tend to go for smaller shops, and shop windows are always good to look at, they entice you in to spend :)

    All the best Jan
