Best of the Weekend #113 and Another Farewell

Howdy, and Happy Friday!

We've got some more news here at Best of the Weekend.
Tonight is the last party for one of our co-hosts,
Deb, from Cooking On the Front Burner.
Family commitments beckon, so Deb will be focusing on that.
She'll still be blogging, so be sure to continue to check out
what she's cooking up on the front burner.
Deb, it's been a pleasure, and I wish you all the best!

Remember that each co-host selects her own favorite posts,
giving you a better chance of being featured each week,
so be sure to check out Ginnie, Cindy, Sheryl, and Deb
to see if you were featured on their blogs.
And...we'll each be pinning our features to a

This week's most clicked link was:

Easy Strawberry Jam from Sweet and Savory by Shinee

My features for this week are:

Fresh Citrus Salad with Balsamic Honey Vinaigrette Dressing
from Living The Gourmet
This salad looks just peachy! It's almost too pretty too eat.
Almost. Please pass a fork.

Southern Spiked Blueberry Coffee Cake from Baking in Pyjamas
"Spiked" and "blueberry" in one cake sounds doubly delicious.

Raspberry Cheesecake Truffles from OMG Chocolate Desserts
Little bites of dessert heaven, if you ask me.

The Chippy Paint Layered Look from The Painted Hinge
Great tutorial for painting wooden trays, which even "yours truly" could handle.

Good News Bad News: A Little Cottage Update
from The Little White House on the Seaside
Yes, even in a pretty French seaside town, there are trials and tribulations
with renovating a cottage
I'm offering to fly over and help :)

And now, we need your help -- link up your best stuff!

  6. I just had to print the recipe for the citrus salad, and pin the picture so I'll have a slim hope of replicating it. I think I could eat salads for every meal if they were as pretty as this.

  7. Amy,
The renovation comes with a lot of dust: plaster dust and even sand from the old walls, so you're more than welcome to fly over and help... provided that you don't mind sleeping on the floor ;)
