Hello, and welcome to Best of the Weekend!
As I write this, we are under a tornado watch.
That doesn't happen too often around here.
After the storm moves out later tonight, the forecast promises
perfect weather for the remainder of the holiday weekend.
On the 4th, we're meeting friends at one of our favorite restaurants
on the Hudson River (about 20 miles north of New York City)
for dinner and fireworks.
After dinner, the restaurant sets up chairs along the banks of the river,
where we can see fireworks up and down the Hudson!
Wishing all of my American readers a great July 4th,
and my Canadian readers a happy Canada Day!
