&
Downs
That's how a year goes, isn't it?
We've certainly had our share of challenges this year,
but I prefer to focus on the happy moments.
After all, when life gives you lemons,
it's the positive stuff in life that keep you going.
I am grateful for all of the good things that happened in 2018......
Spending time with family
Broadway shows
Dinners with friends
Travel
Gal pals
Home improvements
Taking classes
Volunteering
Revamping my blog
Concerts
Ringing in the New Year with my closest peeps.
Yeah, regardless of enough downs to fill a football field,
it's been a pretty good year of ups.
And now........
The final photo diary of the year.
Farewell, 2018!
Farewell, 2018!
A sea of ornaments at Rockefeller Center.
Santa Con pub crawlers in New York City.
Pre- theater moules frites and a croque monsieur.
Enjoyable, but not "head over heels."
Friday Night Lights on the Jersey side of the Hudson.
May I offer you some Rosemary?
Looking for the light at the end of the Lincoln Tunnel.
City sidewalks, busy sidewalks, dressed in holiday style.
Meanwhile, back in the suburbs........
Even though Junior Goo Shoes came home from college well after Hanukkah was over, we lit the candles........
Made some latkes........
And exchanged presents.
Made some latkes........
And exchanged presents.
My kind of tools......made out of chocolate. Brings new meaning to "I'll have another screwdriver, please!"
It wouldn't be a photo diary without The Cardinal.
Sadie and I doing our morning stretches.
Geese going in for an icy dip.
Cookie obsession: Levain Bakery, NYC.
Drive-by photos in NYC from the passenger seat.
Farewell, 2018! Looking forward to doing epic s*** in 2019!
Happy New Year to all!
Till next time.....
I think I'd be just fine with a set of those tools!
