Are you having an unusually rough winter where you live?
We are having one whopper of a winter here in the NY/NJ area.
I've lost count, but I think we've had five snowstorms in the last two weeks.
As much as I don't care to see another snowflake until next winter, and never want to hear the song "Let It Snow" again, I have to admit that Mother Nature has left some impressive scenery in her wake.
Here are a few snaps around my house from the last couple of snowstorms.
I'm going to be offline for a few days...Have a great week, and see you soon!
It is beautiful! However, I have been praying for all the people who are without power. I can't imagine what they are going through.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Jane. It's been so rough for so many people this winter. Weather can be beautiful and dangerous at the same time.
DeleteThe remnants of some massive snowstorms, so beautifully captured!
ReplyDeleteThere's beauty in every little thing, and even big ones.
Thanks Merisi. I was so bummed out about the second big snowfall in two days, but when I went outside in the morning, and the sun came out, it was hard not to be struck by the beauty of it all.
DeleteEvery photo is absolutely gorgeous !! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Deb! It was a gorgeous morning after the second snowstorm in 2 days, with all of the ice on the trees.
DeleteYour photos are beautiful compared to the wet and windy weather we are getting over on this side of the pond. Have a great weekend x
ReplyDeleteHi Chel, it was hard not to appreciate the beauty, as tired as I was of all the snow!
DeleteI know you are tired of all the snow, but these pictures are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kim! It has finally started to melt! Hoping by the end of this weekend that it is GONE!
DeleteThe answer is a huge YES!! It's been a good old fashioned winter here in Ontario.... Your pictures are beautiful Amy.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rosella, it is pretty, but this has been a LOT of snow for us! We usually don't get this much, especially in such a concentrated amount of time. I'm so tired of it, but it is beautiful.
DeleteYour pictures are amazing : I've never seen so much snow in my life. And yes, we've had a very difficult winter here, no snow but many "tempests", Brittany way!
ReplyDeleteIt's been an unusually snowy winter here. We don't usually get this month. I've had enough, though, to last awhile!
Deletewow, your photos are magnificent! i love them, and i hate snow! It is a struggle this winter for me. Can't wait for spring. xo
ReplyDeleteThanks, Barbara. Sorry to hear you are having a tough go of it. I keep hearing about people who've fallen on the ice. I can't wait for spring, either.
DeleteI can only imagine how you must feel. It would be extremely difficult for me ~ cabin fever comes early on. The photos are stunning!

Even when I go out in between snowstorms, I can't shake this cabin fever feeling! If it's not snowing, it's freezing! When is spring?????
DeleteGorgeous shots! We have the same view outside our door.
ReplyDeleteI'm SOOO tired of it, Suzanne. I'm longing for spring. Sigh.
DeleteOh- Yes- It is winter there and here, too. Have a good time offline, Amy. Sometimes we need to do that. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI know you get tons more snow than we do, Diana. I guess we are not used to snowstorm on top of snowstorm. And the temperatures have been frigid. I'm definitely in need of a little break :)
DeleteIt is beautiful. If you're not out in it. Yes, we've had an usually bad winter.
ReplyDeleteBrenda
Seems like everyone all over the world has had a rough winter. One month till spring!
DeleteYou really do get a lot of snow in your area! Your pictures are beautiful though.
ReplyDeleteThis has been an unusually snowy winter for us. It's been constant -- one storm after another. I can't wait till spring!
DeleteYou know that song "I'm As Cold As Ice?" That's how I've felt for 3 months!
ReplyDeleteIt's been quite a few years since we've seen a winter like this. The snow and cold have been a little too plentiful in my opinion. Hoping spring finds us all soon!
ReplyDeleteI"m with you, Eileen! Enough is enough! Bring on spring!
DeleteDear Amy, It certainly does look pretty in your area, a lot prettier than here!
ReplyDeleteStay safe, warm and cozy. I here that spring is in the air!
Blessings dear. Catherine xo
It's starting to look all dirty here, now, Catherine. Hoping the warmer temps of this coming week will melt it all away!
DeleteActually Amy, we're not really having much of a winter at all here in Germany. I've had to drive hours to find snow for the last two weekends. Your photos are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI envy your mild winter, Corinne! One snowstorm, maybe two would be nice, but it's been crazy here! And finally is it warming up so I hope it all melts!
DeleteI am sick and tired of winter! We are on our 7th snow day. I hope you are offline sipping a cocktail on a warm beach!
ReplyDelete7 snow days???? Wow...We've only had 4. We had a "virtual" school day last week. Crazy! I actually was away for a few days in Florida. It was a nice little break from winter.
DeleteI could take these same pictures in my yard. The kids had 6 days off this last week. Crazy! They went skiing today.
ReplyDelete6 days off? Yikes. We are up to four, and so far, we lost one day during spring break.
DeleteOh Lordy! It is certainly more beautiful in the photos that it looks in person...but I'm with you no more snow! It's drained all the energy I have...the only thing left about this winter I'm enjoying are the Olympics. Oh how I cannot wait for Spring! Stay warm Ms. Toody! :)
ReplyDeleteToodles,
Tammy<3
I agree, Tammy, it did zap me of all my energy! And, the snow is now all dirty...hoping it melts now that it has warmed up!
