Hello, and welcome to Best of the Weekend!
It's been three weeks since Junior Goo Shoes left for college.
Can I tell you it feels like it's been forever?
One thing I've really missed is talking to him everyday.
I've got hundreds of questions I'd like to ask him,
but I've been trying to keep my cellular distance.
So, when my phone rang the other day,
and it was JGS face-timing us, I was ecstatic!
True, he called to ask a question about doing laundry,
but he ended up talking to us for about 30 minutes!
He is so happy, which makes us super happy!
Needless to say, it was the highlight of my week.
What was the best part of your week?

Amy, I remember those first few weeks of mom left behind by a college student...and one of them was just 20 minutes away! It gets easier but you kind of go through it again each time they come home for a visit and then leave again. I bet you'll find lots to keep you occupied though!
ReplyDeleteI'm new to your site! =) Thanks so much for hosting!
