Best of the Weekend and Happy Passover!

Greetings, and welcome to Best of the Weekend!
As you are reading this, I am sitting at our seder table,
celebrating the first night of Passover!
For those of you who are wondering what a seder is (pronounced SAY-der),
it is a ceremonial meal with prayers, rituals and song
that reminds us of when the Jews were freed from slavery in Egypt thousands of years ago.
Although my family does not perform the entire seder,
we always look forward to this night that is different from all others,
where we eat certain foods that remind us of our freedom.
Undoubtedly by this time, I have already stuffed myself

with too much matzoh ball soup and kugel,
and of course, had the obligatory four cups of wine
(and they call this suffering?).
We get to do it all over again tomorrow for the second night of Passover.

To those of you who celebrate, I wish you a "zissen Pesach" --
a sweet Passover!

And now, on to Best of the Weekend!
